| This New Year's week has been a blast!! Wednesday morning I went up to Ryan's house in Columbus. We hung out there a little while, played a little Foosball, then headed up to Nicki's in Louisville. I was really glad Ryan decided to go, because he wasn't sure if he would or not. It was great to hang out with him in the car ride...a 2 hour drive is never fun to drive alone! So yeah, we got to Nicki's in the evening, and just chilled, played a little pool. Later on, Ron, Jenna, Jenny, Andrew got there. Jenna wasn't feeling very well, so that was not cool. But we all still had a great time! Ron and Jenna ended up leaving after the Ball Drop at midnight. Sarah came around midnite, and then I think she left around 2 or 3. Let's see...then on Thursday Nicki and Ryan went and picked up donuts for us to have for breakfast! Aren't they thoughtful? Played some more pool (I was starting to get okay at it). Andrew and Jenny left early, prolly around noon or something. For lunch Nicki's family was having sauerkraut, which was not something Ryan or I wanted to eat! So we went and bought some steaks...oh yes. They came out pretty good too...but man, they were huge. Those were at least 16oz...I'm thinking they were more than that. All I know, I couldn't finish mine! Thursday evening Nicki took us out on the 4-wheeler! That was awesome, it's been way too long! She has woods back behind her house, so we had tons of space to ride! Just a tad bit muddy. Went bowling with her parents that night...I was okay. Pretty bad the first game, but i came back and almost beat Ryan and Nicki the second game!
Friday was awesome. Nicki had work early, so she was already gone when me and Ryan got up. So, what did we decide to do? Yep....we went back out on the 4-wheeler! Now, it had rained all night Thursday, so it was extremely muddy Friday morning! We both had ended up soaked in mud...it was awesome. I actually spent most of the time riding while Ryan drove. I have never really done that (well, since I was 3). So it was actually fun...plus, I really don't care a lot for driving with a rider on the back...so I just would rather ride! I did kick him off at one point and drove around a little on my own (and then he did the same thing). Man, it was a blast...we were out there at least an hour and a half! Eventually we decided we better get back...so we cleaned off the mud and went to see Nicki at IHOP. Now, our shoes were in no state to be worn...so we just went in to eat in our socks! A first for me...not for Ryan, but he roller blades and stuff so I guess you get used to going in places without shoes. It was hilarious though, Nic couldn't beleive we walked in there in our socks!
On the way back to Ryno's from Nics, he gave a me a sampling of tons of music he had...most of which I had already heard of, but some of the stuff I hadn't heard of was pretty good stuff! So we got back to Ryno's and played a little Ping Pong, and foosball. I won't say that i lost...but let's just say I didn't win. Haha, but that's okay cause I still had fun. We went and hung out at one of Ryan's buddie's house for a while and watched the OSU football game. I'm not really into football, but hey, it was fun and cool to hang out with some of Ryan's friends. So I stayed at Ryno's Friday night, and then made the trip home Saturday morning. Okay, so that's definitely a long entry, but I felt like typin! This week was a blast...did I mention that?
Oh yeah, if this New Year's had a theme song, it definitely would be "Leech" by Eve 6. Ahhh, Ryan if you read this, you have to burn it for me because I CANT get it out of my head! "your story's not congruent..."
| Christmas Parties, Fuel, and presents...it's been a while since I've been on here! Let's see...been having great times with Ryan, Nicki and Rachel. Except for the fact that I may have failed Econ, things couldn't be better!
Had the Navigator's Christmas party back in the beginning of December. That was a great time, it was out at the Western Lodge. Lasagna, Caesar salad, what more could I ask for!? We did a white elephant gift game...i got the gift that Ron brought. "Greatest Hits of the 80s Music Videos" on DVD. haha. Rachel took it from me the next day saying that I wasn't worthy of it because I don't like "LoveShack!" Rocky made me a picture-movie on the computer for my Christmas present. It was so great...Rocky I still love it!
This past weekend was a great time too...got to see Fuel at Bogart's on Friday! Jess, Wendy and Wendy's best friend went. They definitely rock live, and they must, since I have seen them three times. We were probably about 15 feet from the stage I would say, we were really close. In case anyone cares (which I do care), their set list was...
Last Time Jesus or a Gun Won't Back Down Comfortably Numb/Innocent Scar Untitled Million Miles Down Sunburn Falls On Me Empty Spaces Stairway to Heaven/Shimmer Down Inside of You Prove Hemorrhage (In My Hands)
Encore: Quarter Bittersweet
Hmm, let's see...Loved "Last Time", and was really glad they still open with it. The intro to "Stairway to Heaven" was awesome, and was a great way to intro "Shimmer." Always a treat to hear "Sunburn" live. They don't always do that one. Wish they hadn't cut "Bad Day" from their set, but that was the only slight disappointment. Awesome show, especially since I have never been so close at any concert before! Glad we got there so early. The Killington's opened the show--they weren't bad! Then Sloth played, and uh, they really weren't that good...at all. haha. But it's all good times.
Christmas today was fun. Got presents and stuff, and then went to Grandma's house as usual. I got the "Friends" trivia game...Nicki I can't wait to play! Well, guess that's about all I have to say for now...hope everyone is having a good break! So, until next time...peace, out.
| Hello. Okay, so I am definitely sick now. I don't know what it is. At first I thought it was the flu, and then I thought just a cold, and now I don't know. All I know is I have a ton of homework to do this weekend, and I don't feel like doing any of it! I missed Survivor at Justin's on Thursday because I thought I should get rest and go to bed early, that was sad. It's always fun to hang out there. But I guess it paid off, cause yesterday I didn't feel too bad! I went to Navs and then to eat with Ron & Ryan, at guess where, that's right....B-Dubs! I have been there like the last 4 weekends with Ryan, I love it, they have the best food, and it's pretty cheap too! I will always remember though, the best time there was when I went with Sharon & Don, and we stayed from like 5:00 till midnight! After food, we dropped Ron off, and Ryan and I played a little Mario Kart (I did beat him several times ) and watched Terminator 3...which was really good I thought. Rocky we missed you though! We stopped here to watch movies with you...but you were asleep!! Let me tell you something, do not ever let those people make you upset again...okay? Because they are not worth it, not one bit. If I may say so, all together I think those girls are not the nicest people. Haha, Rocky, I think you agree. Like, on more than one occasion they have made you feel horrible and feel like you're worthless (even thought that is absolutely the farthest thing from the truth). They also made fun of Laissa that one time. When they were saying she was a witch or goth or whatever, just because she was wearing black? I mean, she IS black, how can a black girl be a goth anyway? But in either case, those are just two examples that I know of, and it's like, "Why are these girls so bitter towards others?" Eh, oh well, just got to thinkin' about it. You are a great person Rachel, and any one of your real friends will tell you that. By the way, we still need to watch Mrs. Doubtfire! | | |
| Oh yes...we finally got our new copy machine at work. Call me a nerd all you like, I will be spending large portions of time in there playing with the new machine. This thing does so much it is amazing. It's totally digital...i mean, this thing will even scan pictures! Anyway, i know you all are so happy for me, but I must go and see how long it takes for me to break our brand new copier! | | |
| Hey. So, this weekend definitely was a lot of fun. Went to Navigators Friday. Also went to Applebee's with Ryan, Carolyn, Suzi & Mark. That was good times definitely. I went back to Ryan's after the food, and watched the movie "seven." Yeah, it was a really good movie, but man, it seriously was freaky! Got to eat brunch with Lai & Wenz Saturday morning. Sorry I haven't seen you guys too much lately, I promise I am not avoiding you! lol. I guess we've just been kinda doing different things is all, but that's cool I guess. Saturday my dad took me to town to get some shoes. We had a really great time, and it was good to spend time with him. He seemed in an especially good mood, so that is always a good thing! | | |
